Fish with Kris

Keep a rainbow. Win a fishing trip. It's that simple.

South Fork Outfitters is offering a FREE guided fishing trip with Time OUT outdoor reporter Kris Millgate. Anglers keeping South Fork rainbows earn an entry in the in the 'Go Fish with Kris' contest for every South Fork rainbow they turn in to Idaho Fish and Game.

Some of the rainbows are also worth up to $1,000 through Trout Unlimited. All rainbows turned into Fish and Game are scanned for possible payout. 

Rainbow trout are pushing native cutthroat trout out of the South Fork of the Snake River. A reduction in cutthroats could lead to federal protection. Idaho Fish and Game is offering cash incentives to anglers in an effort to reduce the rainbow population and help cutthroats on the South Fork.

Bring Outside Art In

Branches, grasses and pine cones cover the Post Register Art Gallery in Idaho Falls, Idaho. It's part of outdoor journalist Kris Millgate's still art collection. Trout jumping ladders and bald eagles keeping watch are a few of the photographs in the 'Bring Outside In' art collection on display now through May 21.
